Taxonomy
Notorthisina notoconcha was named by Havlicek and Branisa (1980). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cieneguillas, near Guanacune, west slope of Yunchara Range, which is in a Tremadoc transition zone/lower shoreface shale/sandstone in the Tucumilla Formation of Bolivia.
