Taxonomy
Sowerbyella lepta was named by Percival (1979). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is L045. 'New Durran', 3.5 km SE of Gunningbland, which is in an Eastonian/Onnian marine siltstone/sandstone in the Goonumbla Volcanics Formation of Australia.
