Taxonomy
Lesserorthis havliceki was named by Benedetto (2007). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is San Alejo River, Cordon de Lesser Range, which is in a Tremadoc coastal sandstone in Argentina. It is the type species of Lesserorthis.
