Tarfaya grandis
Taxonomy
Eoorthis grandis was named by Harrington (1938) [= 1938 Nanorthis saltensis (Kayser); Ulrich and Cooper, p. 91, pl. 12E, figs. 15-18.]. Its type specimen is SEGEMAR 11060-e,, a valve (internal mould of dorsal valve), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Nanorthis grandis by Castellaro (1963); it was recombined as Tarfaya grandis by Villas and Herrera (2013).
