Taxonomy
Oxoplecia ujukensis was named by Andreeva (1982). Its type specimen is TsNIGMRmuzey 54/11865 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sample 503c. Uyuk River, Tuva, which is in a Darriwilian carbonate horizon in the Tarlyk Formation of the Russian Federation.
