Semnanostrophia lata
Taxonomy
Semnanostrophia lata was named by Ghobadi Pour et al. (2011). Its type specimen is NMW2010.19G.1 (Ld=, BBl=1.9, BBw=5.8), , a valve (dorsal internal mould), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is DM-A/10E. unnamed valley about 1 km northeast of the Qalyankesh Mountain, which is in a Darriwilian marine sandstone/conglomerate in the Lashkarak Formation of Iran.
