Taxonomy
Tritoechia florentinensis was named by Laurie (1980). Its type specimen is UTGD 97410 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gap Creek Section. ~51 meters, which is in a Bendigonian marine siltstone in the Florentine Valley Formation of Australia.
