Taxonomy
Keppleritiana rostovtsevi was named by Mitta (2017). Its type specimen is PIN 5546/120 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 31, Storozhevaya, which is in a Bajocian marine claystone in the Djangura Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Keppleritiana.
