Aporthophyla typa
Taxonomy
Aporthophyla typa was named by Ulrich and Cooper (1936). Its type specimen is USNM 92866 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ikes Canyon, Toquima Range, which is in a Whiterockian carbonate limestone in the Antelope Valley Formation of Nevada.
