Pampaphoneus biccai
Taxonomy
Pampaphoneus biccai was named by Cisneros et al. (2012). Its type specimen is UFRGS PV386P, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Boqueirão farm, Catuçaba, which is in a Wordian/Capitanian terrestrial sandstone in the Rio do Rasto Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Pampaphoneus.
