Saurorhynchus hauffi
Taxonomy
Saurorhynchus hauffi was named by Maxwell and Stumpf (2017). Its type specimen is SMNS 55057, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Zell unter Aichelberg, epsilon II-4 (SMNS collection), which is in a Toarcian marine shale in the Posidonienschiefer Formation of Germany.
