Taxonomy
Vascoceras charoni was named by Barroso-Barcenilla and Goy (2010). Its type specimen is UCM MS-3 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tamajón (Vascoceras gamai subzone), which is in a Cenomanian marine horizon in Spain.
