Aipichthys nuchalis

Taxonomy
Microdon nuchalis was named by Dixon (1850). Its type specimen is BMNH 25770, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Washington (Goring pit), which is in a Cenomanian/Cenomanian carbonate chalk in the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Aipichthys nuchalis by Woodward (1902), Patterson (1964).
