Strigoceras truellei

Taxonomy
Ammonites truellei was named by d'Orbigny (1845). Its type specimen is MNHN F. R.04117 and is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Strigoceras, Strigoceras (Strigoceras).

It was recombined as Strigoceras (Strigoceras) truellei by Besnosov and Mitta (1993); it was recombined as Strigoceras truellei by Zatoń (2010).
