Melosaurus uralensis

Taxonomy
Melosaurus uralensis was named by Meyer (1857). Its type specimen is MB 334, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sterlitamak - Melosaurus uralensis site, which is in an Ufimian/Kazanian terrestrial sandstone in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Melosaurus.
