Taxonomy
Oxycerites (Oxycerites) tenuis was named by Mitta (1993). Its type specimen is VNIGRI 115/3192 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vandob Ravine, Kugitangtau Range (top Tangiduval Fm), which is in a Bathonian marine horizon in the Tangiduval Formation of Uzbekistan.
