Taxonomy
Parkinsonia (Djanaliparkinsonia) lutchnikovi was named by Kutuzova (1975). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tuada, southwest Gissar (middle Degibadam Fm), which is in a Garantiana marine horizon in the Degibadam Formation of Uzbekistan. It is the type species of Djanaliparkinsonia.

It was recombined as Djanaliparkinsonia lutchnikovi by Besnosov and Mitta (1993).
