Taxonomy
Sulcohamitoides karaimanensis was named by Besnosov (1990). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Karaiman Well-Koshadzhulba Mt, Bolshoi Balkhan (lower Seutlin Fm), which is in a Bathonian/Bathonian marine horizon in the Seutlin Formation of Turkmenistan. It is the type species of Sulcohamitoides.
