It was assigned to Polyprotodontia by Gadow (1898); to Haplodonti by Jaekel (1911); to Prototheria by Cope (1889), Hay (1902), Hay (1930); to Theromorpha by Kuhn (1946); and to Promammalia by Gregory (1910), Riek and Kukalová-Peck (1984).
