Chthonosaurus velocidens
Taxonomy
Chthonosaurus velocidens was named by Vjuschkov (1955). Its type specimen is PIN 521/1, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pron'kino, PIN 521, which is in a Severodvinian/Vyatkian terrestrial horizon in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Chthonosaurus.
