Taxonomy
Idiostrophia valdari was named by Ross (1972). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is D1968 CO. Meiklejohn mud-mound, which is in a Whiterockian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Antelope Valley Formation of Nevada.
