Taxonomy
Kosmoclymenia (Muessenbiaergia) marukhensis was named by Nikolaeva (2005). Its type specimen is PIN 3763/1, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Marukha River, sample T-2891/6, which is in a Famennian carbonate limestone in the Russian Federation.
