Diagnosis
| Reference | Diagnosis | |
|---|---|---|
| S. M. Jacquet et al. 2014 | Millimetric shells separated into two morphotypes. Morph A sub-conical to dome-shaped, semi-circular to arrow-headed in outline with a rounded supra-apical margin interrupted by a slight median bulge. Raised V-shaped lateral ridges extend from the apex to the lateral margins and separate the supra-apical field from the rostrum. Morph B sub-pyramidal, sub-semicircular in outline with a distinct sub-apical plate, partially enclosed to form an arched distal margin between the lateral fields. Associated sclerites are hollow and blade-like with
linear striations flanked by parallel canals that extend along the length of the blade. A minimum of two sclerite types observed, including flattened palmates with varying degrees of curvature away from the longitudinal axis and elongate, slender siculates with minimal curvature about the transverse axis. |
