Taxonomy
Indoscaphites korojonensis was named by Brunnschweiler (1966). Its type specimen is CPC 2777, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Marilla Anticline (Korojon calcarenite), which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate limestone in the Korojon Formation of Australia.
