Taxonomy
Paradiabolocrinus teres was named by Hearn and Deline (2012). Its type specimen is Soudleyan, a calyx, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is KY Route 34 Roadcut, near Danville, which is in a Soudleyan/Marshbrookian marine packstone/shale in the Lexington Limestone Formation of Kentucky.
