Ophidostoma tatarinovi
Taxonomy
Ophidostoma tatarinovi was named by Huttenlocker and Smith (2017). Its type specimen is SAM-PK-K8516, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Good Luck (Matjiesfontein 412), Cistecephalus Assemblage Zone, which is in a Wuchiapingian terrestrial horizon in the Teekloof Formation of South Africa. It is the type species of Ophidostoma.
