Avitoplectus molaris

Taxonomy
Avitoplectus molaris was named by Bemis et al. (2017). Its type specimen is WIF/A 2340, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tadkeshwar Lignite Mine (TAD-1), which is in a Ypresian channel sandstone in the Cambay Shale Formation of India. It is the type species of Avitoplectus.
