Cyclolepoides tuberculatus
Taxonomy
Cyclolepoides tuberculatus was named by David (1946). Its type specimen is CIT 10331, a dermal scale, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Western Gulf Oil Company, Lillis Welch No. 1, which is in an Eocene/Eocene marine shale in the Kreyenhagen Formation of California. It is the type species of Cyclolepoides.
