Taxonomy
Apektocrinus ubaghsi was named by Guensburg and Sprinkle (2009). It is not extant. Its type specimen is TMM 1983TX1, a calyx. Its type locality is FB Sinkhole, which is in a Gasconadian shallow subtidal limestone in the Garden City Formation of Idaho.
