Yunnanechinus luopingensis
Taxonomy
Yunnanechinus luopingensis was named by Thompson et al. (2018). Its type specimen is LPI-32321, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Luoping biota (LPI collection), which is in a Pelsonian carbonate lime mudstone in the Guanling Formation of China. It is the type species of Yunnanechinus.
