Liaotarimella tarimensis
Taxonomy
Tarimella tarimensis was named by Chen (2004). Its type specimen is IGPS109072 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Uzunbulak Section, Bed 16, Piqiang, Artux City, which is in an Artinskian perireef or subreef shale/siltstone in the Wutankule Formation of China. It is the type species of Tarimella, Liaotarimella.
It was recombined as Liaotarimella tarimensis by Shen et al. (2017).
