Kepingia tarimensis
Taxonomy
Tarimoplecta tarimensis was named by Chen and Shi (2000). Its type specimen is NMV P303392, a valve (Ventral valve), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Paojianggou section, Kexiliqiman Fm, which is in an Artinskian marine limestone in the Keziliqiman Formation of China.
It was recombined as Kepingia tarimensis by Shen et al. (2017).
