Leptostrophia jamesoni

Taxonomy
Stropheodonta jamesoni was named by Reed (1917). Its type specimen is B73036 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Woodland Point, which is in a Rhuddanian marine sandstone/siltstone in the Woodland Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Palaeoleptostrophia.

It was recombined as Leptostrophia jamesoni by Cocks (1978); it was recombined as Palaeoleptostrophia jamesoni by Reed (1917), Rong and Cocks (1994), Williams et al. (2000).
