Calyptogena katallaensis
Taxonomy
Calyptogena katallaensis was named by Kiel and Amano (2010). Its type specimen is UCMP 555211, a valve (right valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS loc. 15385=UCMP IP1720, Katalla 1, which is in an Oligocene marine horizon in the Kulthieth Formation of Alaska.
