Lateopisciculus turrifumosus

Taxonomy
Lateopisciculus turrifumosus was named by Murray and Wilson (1996). Its type specimen is UALVP 34771, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Smoky Tower Fish Locality, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial mudstone in Canada. It is the type species of Lateopisciculus.
