Taxonomy
Vizcainoia moncaiensis was named by Zamora and Smith (2011). It is not extant. Its type specimen is MPZ2011/7. Its type locality is Purujosa section 6. 2 km south of Purujosa village, Moncayo Natural Park, which is in a Menevian marine shale/carbonate in the Murero Formation of Spain.
