Sprinkleocystis ektopios
Taxonomy
Sprinkleocystis ektopios was named by Broadhead and Sumrall (2003). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Holotype SUI 95248. Its type locality is Big Ridge Park, Stanley Farm, Benbolt Formation, which is in a Caradoc carbonate packstone/shale in the Benbolt Formation of Tennessee. It is the type species of Sprinkleocystis.
