Grioceras saundersi
Taxonomy
Martoceras saundersi was named by Nassichuk (1977). Its type specimen is GSC 42271 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality B, GSC locality 79412, which is in a Wordian open shallow subtidal grainstone in the Horsefeed Formation of Canada.
It was recombined as Prostacheoceras saundersi by Bogoslovskaya (1990), Leonova (2002); it was recombined as Grioceras saundersi by Leonova (2018).
