Plicatula modjeskaensis
Taxonomy
Plicatula modjeskaensis was named by Squires and Saul (1997). Its type specimen is LACMIP 8056, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 10888, Santiago Peak, which is in a Turonian shallow subtidal sandstone in the Ladd Formation of California.
