Primitivus manduriensis
Taxonomy
Primitivus manduriensis was named by Paparella et al. (2018). Its type specimen is MPUR NS 161, a skeleton (almost complete skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cava, near Castello, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian carbonate carbonate in Italy. It is the type species of Primitivus.
