Taxonomy
Angullongia was named by Webby and Rigby (1985) [Sepkoski's age data: O Cara-l O Ashg-u Sepkoski's reference number: 652,1066]. It is not extant. Its type is Angullongia vesica. It is the type genus of Angullongiidae.

It was assigned to Calcarea by Sepkoski (2002); and to Angullongiidae by Rigby et al. (1988), Senowbari-Daryan and Rigby (2015).
