Dapedium ballei
Taxonomy
Dapedium ballei was named by Maxwell and López-Arbarello (2018). Its type specimen is SMNS 96990, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Pliensbach near Zell unter Aichelberg, which is in an Opalinum offshore shale in the Opalinuston Formation of Germany.
