Taxonomy
Terebralia susana was named by Squires and Kennedy (1998). Its type specimen is LACMIP 7942, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 26814, Quarry Canyon, which is in a Thanetian coastal siltstone/limestone in the Santa Susana Formation of California.
