Taxonomy
Boa blanchardensis was named by Bochaton and Bailon (2018). It is not extant. Its type specimen is MEC-A-18.1.1.1 , a partial skull (parabasisphenoid). Its type locality is Blanchard Cave Pleistocene layers, which is in a Pleistocene cave horizon in Guadeloupe.
