Aureofungus yaniguaensis
Taxonomy
Aureofungus yaniguaensis was named by Hibbett et al. (2003). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber, Yanigua, El Valle region (Goldman collection), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Yanigua Formation of the Dominican Republic. It is the type species of Aureofungus.
