Brazilichthys macrognathus
Taxonomy
Brazilichthys macrognathus was named by Cox and Hutchinson (1991). It is not extant. Its type specimen is DNPM 1061-P, a skull. Its type locality is Pastos Bons, Maranhao, which is in a Kungurian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Lower Pedra de Fogo Formation of Brazil.
