Taxonomy
Petalocrinus bifidus was named by Fearnhead and Donovan (2006). It is not extant. Its type locality is Near Littlehope, Woolhope Inlier, Woolhope Inlier, which is in a Rhuddanian intrashelf/intraplatform reef limestone in the Haugh Wood Formation of the United Kingdom.
