Roxochampsa paulistanus
Taxonomy
Goniopholis paulistanus was named by Roxo (1935). Its type specimen is DGM 258-R, a set of teeth (Two teeth and tibia), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Railway cutting between Jupiá and Araçatuba, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Adamantina Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Roxochampsa.
It was considered a nomen dubium by Andrade et al. (2011); it was recombined as Roxochampsa paulistanus by Piacentini Pinheiro et al. (2018).
