Taxonomy
Conoclypeus nettoanus was named by White (1887). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lastro, perto de Maroim, which is in an Albian carbonate limestone in the Riacheulo Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Colliclypeus.
It was recombined as Colliclypeus nettoanus by Smith (1991).
