"The holotype was originally housed at the Institut und Museum fur Geologie und Palaontologie, Georg-August-Universitat, Gottingen, but can no longer be located today (lost or destroyed during World War II; H. Jahnke, in litt. 1991)."
Taxonomy
Anarosaurus pumilio was named by Dames (1890). It is not extant. Its type locality is Anarosaurus pumilio holotype locality, which is in an Anisian terrestrial marl in Germany.
